Research Privacy Policy
Cimplex Marketing Group, Inc. ("we" "us" "our") collects information from general public to conduct research. We assure individuals’ identification and privacy are carefully managed within our organization and will not be sold to or shared with a third party unless a consent is confirmed. However collected information may be stored on research platforms we use.

Online Survey
We use third-party platforms to conduct online surveys and verify their compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) of EU and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). In order to increase accuracy and efficiency of research, most survey platforms use “cookie” to collect such information from respondents as IP address, device, browser and referral. Unless notified of other terms and conditions, the respondents need to agree with the data collection to participate in surveys.
Online Interview/Discussion
We use third-party platforms to conduct interviews/discussions online and verify their compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the GDPR and CCPA. In order to meet technical requirements, most platforms use “cookie” to collect such information from respondents as IP address, device and browser.
We also record online interviews/discussions with audio and video for documenting purpose.
Unless notified of other terms and conditions, the respondents need to agree with the data collection to participate in online interviews/discussions.
In-Person Study
We use third-party research facilities to conduct in-person studies, including group discussions, individual interviews and product tests. Most facilities reserve the rights to obtain and verify identification of research participants. The facilities may record study sessions with audio and video for documenting purpose upon our request.
For in-person studies outside research facilities, we record study sessions with audio and video for documenting purpose.
Unless notified of other terms and conditions, the respondents need to agree with the data collection to participate in in-person studies.
Other
We follow the Code of Standards and Ethics for Market Research and Data Analytics of Insights Association as guideline of research implementation and management.
